The robot Zeno, is able to autonomously learn


The company Hanson Robotics ( Japan) has released a new humanoid robot that can walk, talk and self- study. Zeno the robot is 30 cm in length, the weight of new products is only 3 pounds.

According to the developers, Zeno is able to express emotions, to establish a voice and visual contact not only with people but with pets.

Novelty has also some good cognitive abilities, including Zeno, seeing a man for the first time, introduce yourself and ask the name of a person in the future the robot will turn to this person by name only. Moreover, the robot correctly identifies the intonation of speech buddy.

The robot is equipped with built-in WiFi- transmitter that allows it to connect to a regular computer and special software to upload or download to a PC back to its knowledge base.

The cost of the robot is about $ 300.

In the future, Hanson Robotics is going to release a generation of robots capable of using wireless networks to go into a global network.
